About the role

Plan Smart. Coordinate Better. Keep Everything Moving.

If you're someone who thrives on organisation, problem-solving, and making things run smoothly, this is your moment. As a Work Plan Co-ordinator, you'll be right at the centre of delivery-bringing people, resources, and plans together to make sure work happens safely, efficiently, and on time.

This is where strategy meets delivery. Where planning turns into performance. And where your coordination keeps everything on track.

What You'll Do

You'll be the engine behind effective planning and delivery:

  • Build and manage annual and quarterly work plans that make the best use of labour, plant, tools, materials, and access
  • Line up the right resources at the right time-nothing wasted, nothing missed
  • Identify and secure critical access and possession requirements to keep work moving
  • Keep a close eye on performance-tracking efficiency, productivity, and cost
  • Analyse delivery against plan, spotting trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve
  • Call out issues early and help shape smarter solutions
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure plans are practical, achievable, and aligned
  • Keep everything organised, coordinated, and running like clockwork

Your experience and skills

What You Bring

You're organised, switched-on, and always one step ahead:

  • Strong experience in work planning, coordination, and resource optimisation
  • Solid understanding of access and possession planning processes and systems
  • Sharp analytical skills-you can turn data into insight and action
  • Great communication skills-you know how to keep people aligned and informed
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Knowledge of maintenance delivery processes and techniques
  • Experience working in infrastructure, rail, or a safety-critical environment
  • A natural eye for spotting inefficiencies and improving how things are done

Why This Role Stands Out

This isn't just planning-it's impact.

You'll play a key role in how work gets delivered, how resources are used, and how efficiently the team performs. When plans run smoothly, it's because of you.

If you enjoy bringing order to complexity, making things work better, and being the person who keeps everything aligned-this role has your name on it
